I think that says it all. Buy these.

I purchased these shorts to wear during my training for my first triathlon. I’ve been using a recumbent bike thus far simply because I don’t have a road bike. While riding, my butt would start to tingle and then it would become painful and I’d have to stop. Well, you can’t build endurance when you have to stop, so a friend recommended padded bike shorts.

I got these because they come in plus sizes, because I felt like they were acceptably priced for plus-sized bike shorts, and because they have padding in the right places. They fit perfectly…not too tight but not loose. The padded crotch made my rides, even on my recumbent bike, so much more comfortable. Not even a tingle this time and that encouraged me to ride for longer than I’d planned.

I was a bit concerned about the legs… that they’d be too tight to be comfortable while riding or that they’d roll up while I was pedaling. But they didn’t! The inside of the legs has this blue elastic that keeps them in place. It doesn’t cling to the skin or pinch or anything like that.

The only other concern I had was about the seams. They’re wonderfully stitched, but there are seams running down the middle of the legs in both the front and the back. I was worried that, after a little riding, I would start to feel like the seams were kind of grinding into the backs of my thighs… but that didn’t happen either. It was great.

I’ve been so pleased with them. If you’re looking for bike shorts and you looked at these, BUY THEM! Your butt will thank you.

I’m not an avid bike rider, but have some pelvic floor/sacrum issues that ignited after my knee replacement. Riding my stationary bike was one of the best exercises for my leg as well as getting my conditioning and endurance back,(in rainy Oregon). But… no pun intended…. my bottom and issues in my pelvic floor were getting worse. A padded seat for my bike wasn’t comfortable, so I thought maybe bike shorts would work!! Ta DA!! They did and they do, I can do my 45 min work out, without experiencing the pain when dismounting my bike like I use to. I will also be using these when paddling my kayak. They work good under my loose hiking/outdoor pants. Well worth the price. They should last a long while as long as I use the care and washing instructions. Great purchase for me!! Now I can feel like I CAN get out and ride for real again with my husband.

I found these shorts to be very comfortable. I have never owned a pair of bike shorts, so I had to use the sizing chart to figure out what size to buy. I found the fit of these shorts to be true to size. Even after a hot, sweaty ride, the seams or rubber leg strips did not irretate me. The waist did not slip down, nor did the legs ride up. The heavier padding makes long rides more comfortable. Resently, I went on a twenty mile bike ride in windy 30 degree weather. I put a pair of thermal tights over these shorts and was still very comfortable with the heavier padding. The only negative is that they take longer to dry when I hang them up after washing, so I intend to buy an extra pair to have on hand.

I have purchased other riding shorts but these are certainly the most comfortable bike shorts I’ve tried. I would definitely recommend this product to those who are serious cyclists. Great for long distances.

Great purchase. Would buy them again. Would definitely recommend them to anyone out there that desires more cushion and comfort. Ride 25 miles daily and they are great.

The last ride I went for was tough without any bike shorts – I am VERY glad I bought these & they will enable me to do a longer workout without chafing or soreness!! A little salty in price, but worth it~!

I like these shorts a lot. They do exactly what I wanted. I wear them on my road bike and also on a stationery bike which used to give me a lot of trouble in the derriere. I found later that they were about the most expensive, but I am very satisfied with them.

I was skepitical if they would really make a difference mountain biking. They really did! They are a great pair of shorts.

I ride my bike 7 miles at a time, a few times a week. I wore two pairs of shorts but it was still uncomfortable. I bought these shorts because they were highly recommended. I found that the padding in the back was good and would probably have been great for riding a recumbent bike. I needed something with more padding in the front. These do make the riding more comfortable but it’s not like sitting on a pillow. Is anything? I’d like to be able to ride further but I either have to get more used to these shorts and the seat or get more padded shorts. I do wear these every time I ride, and they help, but not as much as I was hoping for.
